Organizational Overview

Launch Girls empowers and equips adolescent girls in Southeast Asia and Africa with 21st-century skills, entrepreneurial mindsets, and the plans for their futures that they need to become bold contributors to today’s economy.

Project Goals

As a fast-growing early-stage social venture, Launch Girls was looking for a trusted partner to help them build their development capacity from the ground up. With a global focus and footprint, they were seeking guidance from a firm with a track record in global development and the expertise to build out their fundraising function within the organization.

After an extensive process evaluating the performance across ten fundraising consultancies, they turned to Black Fox Global. Together our goals were to create their fundraising communications from scratch, help them identify deeply aligned funders, and provide guidance and coaching to advance strategic relationships to sustain their organization with funding for the long term.

Project Results

The confidence Launch Girls gained by working with the Black Fox team was transformational. By partnering with Black Fox Global, Launch Girls successfully established a development function tailored to their needs, setting the groundwork for long-term funding. They sharpened their ability to communicate their work effectively that resulted in doors opening to new opportunities for funding.

Armed with an abundant pipeline of quality prospects and messaging that clearly articulates their mission, Launch Girls is now equipped with the skills and mindset to cultivate and advance meaningful relationships that result in funding. Building on the momentum gained and skills developed with Black Fox, Launch Girls was able to land their first institutional funder – enabling them to continue to deliver on their commitment to adolescent girls across Southeast Asia and Africa for many years to come.
