Danna Peña is a digital marketing and sustainability communications specialist with a decade of experience across e-commerce, retail, NGOs, and media. She holds a master’s degree in sustainability management from UPF Barcelona School of Management and a bachelor’s degree in advertising management from De La Salle University.
A skilled storyteller, she has authored more than 90 articles for publications like Rappler and The Philippine Star, covering sustainability, culture, and business. She was a 2020 Journalism Fellow for Climate Tracker and became a certified Climate Reality Leader in 2021. Based in Barcelona, Danna enjoys long walks, reading, writing, exploring art museums, and experimenting with plant-based recipes.
My path into the impact sector began with a passion for storytelling. Early in my career as a writer and digital strategist, I saw the power of communication to drive societal change. Through work in advertising, e-commerce startups, and a journalism fellowship with Climate Tracker, I was drawn to sustainability and climate action. At Black Fox Global, I bring creativity, strategy, and dedication to aligning missions with meaningful impact.
Outside of work, I love trying all kinds of plant-based cuisine, visiting museums, writing, meeting people from different cultures, and basking in the beauty of Barcelona, where I live. A devoted reader, I’m particularly drawn to epic stories — like The Song of Achilles, which captures my love for timeless and deeply moving narratives.
