Superpower: Connector and strategist, creating financial pathways to support organizations building a sustainable, just, and livable world.

Ashley Stokes has nearly 20 years of experience building strategic philanthropic partnerships through annual giving, major gifts, corporate and foundation engagement, and planned giving. A seasoned development leader in higher education, her work spans basic needs support to transformative capital campaigns.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from SUNY Albany, a master’s degree in education from the University of Connecticut, and is a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE).

My path in philanthropy began as a graduate assistant at the University of Connecticut Athletic Department. As a former student-athlete, it was a way to give back — and it ignited my passion for using fundraising as a tool to drive meaningful change. Over time, my work expanded beyond athletics, strengthening my role as a connector and bridge builder across communities.

I’m driven by a deep sense of purpose and the belief that sharing knowledge, skills, and resources can uplift people and transform lives. At Black Fox Global, I bring empathy, empowerment, organization, and process improvement to my work, always striving for greater impact.
