With 15 years of experience in nonprofits, Heather Strobel specializes in strategic partnerships and fundraising to help organizations expand their impact. She is passionate about connecting missions with long-term partners to enhance capacity building.
Heather has held various development roles, working with organizations across diverse sectors. Her expertise includes strategic planning, funding research, and relationship-building with key partners.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in international studies and French from Indiana University. After living in Boston and Chicago, she returned to Indiana and resides in Indianapolis with her husband and energetic young sons.
From volunteer roles in college to international development at the State Department, my path to the impact sector has always been fueled by a deep desire to help others. My first professional role in philanthropy was as a development manager with the National Kidney Foundation in Boston, and I’ve never looked back. Working in this field is both a calling and a passion — it’s hard work, but it’s incredibly fulfilling.
At Black Fox Global, I bring dedication and empathy to every client relationship, helping uncover meaningful solutions. Outside of work, I love running, reading, traveling (especially to France!), and spending time with my husband and our two young children.
