Julia Chacur is a Brazilian network builder and fundraiser with more than 10 years of experience supporting grassroots communities and international organizations. She has worked across the full fundraising cycle, from strategy and research to outreach and donor reporting, with a passion for social justice initiatives that include community-led change, climate justice, indigenous communities, arts & culture.
Prior to Black Fox Global, she was co-director of partnerships at Elas no Poder and resource mobilization lead for an indigenous-led institute. She has also consulted for nonprofits in the U.S., U.K., and Latin America. As co-founder of Justice Funds and No Visa Jobs, she drives mission-driven change.
At Black Fox Global, Julia strategically researches and engages funders to help organizations amplify impact.
From a young age, I’ve been involved with community projects, working with youth collectives and indigenous communities. This experience sparked my passion for the impact sector, expanding my work from national to regional and now global levels. I see myself as a connector and bridge builder across communities worldwide.
Outside of work, I find inspiration in nature — whether hiking, diving, or exploring. A lifelong traveler, I deeply love my home country of Brazil and once walked 180km through the setting of Grande Sertão Veredas, my favorite book. Its poetic exploration of life and identity resonates deeply with me. At Black Fox Global, strategic thinking and a vision for a more just world drive my work.
