Tricia Puskar has over 20 years of experience in nonprofit leadership, program implementation, research, advocacy, and philanthropy. She has worked with local and global nonprofits on issues including education, global health, housing, economic development, and women and girls’ empowerment.
With over a decade of fundraising leadership in the global social impact sector, Tricia excels in developing strategies that grow revenue across audiences and channels. She has a strong track record in donor cultivation and building collaborative systems to advance organizational goals.
Tricia has lived and worked in Sub-Saharan Africa, and holds a master’s degree in international development and a bachelor’s degree in social work.
My work in philanthropy began with a deep desire to build a better world. After living and studying in West Africa in college, I realized my calling was to work alongside communities worldwide to create bold solutions to poverty and inequity. My family and friends would describe me as loyal, generous, and an activist — traits that help me in my work, along with my love for collaboration. I thrive on building relationships and working across cultures to create impactful solutions.
I’m passionate about exploring new places, both within my beautiful city of Chicago and around the world. In my free time, I love cooking and experimenting with new recipes, reading, and enjoying music. Riding my bike is one of my life’s great joys.
