Miles is a student at Lafayette College with a passion for translation and editorial work. They are working on their Bachelor’s Degree in Latin American and Caribbean Studies and Spanish, as well as a minor in English.

His dedication to community engagement has manifested in his administrative role as an inter-school program coordinator to improve literacy rates and typing skills in a Title 1 school in the Lehigh Valley. Miles was the recipient of the Manny Award for Best Philanthropic Campaign in 2023 for contributions to CDMP’s national LGBTQ+ testimonial project protesting the Don’t Say Gay Bill. Their outreach efforts in a broad range of social justice sectors has led them to the professional nonprofit sphere.

I began my nonprofit career with direct service in sustainable urban gardening situated in food deserts, in addition to the distribution of resources for both migrants traveling across the Arizona-US border and recently arrived individuals in New York City. Taking on more leadership-oriented roles in the impact sector since has been an exciting and fulfilling journey.

My enthusiasm, problem-solving, and desire to drive positive change — whether within my local communities or on the global stage — are just a few reasons my personal attitudes and values are aligned with Black Fox Global’s mission.

I love being outdoors, whether that means visiting sculpture gardens, biking along the river, exploring local trails, or hammocking. I am most in my element when I am engrossed in a book, singing in the car, or competitive rock climbing!
