Wonu has over 15 years of experience in fundraising. Her interest in fundraising and the nonprofit sector started with volunteering in her youth. Since then, she has built considerable experience working with several international development and social impact organisations. She has worked with numerous trusts, foundations, and bilateral and multilateral donors in Europe, the United States, Africa and Asia. Throughout her career, she has learnt what makes donors tick and fundamental principles around fundraising best practices.
Wonu has a BA in Ancient History and History from the University of Nottingham and an MSc in Africa and International Development from the University of Edinburgh.
At Black Fox Global, she is keen to support not-for-profits through bespoke research and strategic advisory to raise the required funding to bring about positive social change – especially in today’s challenging global context.
