Superpower: Comprehend an organization’s demands and find solutions, as challenging as it may seem.

Julia is a social practitioner and fundraiser from Brazil with experience collaborating with grassroots communities and international organizations. She is a resource mobilizer, bringing ideas, people, and funds together to make projects come to life.

For the past 8+ years, she has had the experience of working in the whole fundraising cycle, from strategy and research to outreach and donor reporting. Moreover, she is engaged in themes such as gender equality, climate change, racial justice, economic justice, inequality, youth engagement, and culture. She is especially interested in being a bridge to enable North-South and South-South cooperation to achieve sustainable development.

Previously, she was the Co-Director of Partnerships at Elas no Poder (Women in Power), an NGO dedicated to closing the gender gap in politics in Brazil, and Resource Mobilization Lead for an indigenous-led institute. Moreover, she acted as a fundraising consultant for US, UK, and Latin American nonprofits.

In Black Fox Philanthropy, she is eager to catalyze impact, focusing on research and engaging funders – so organizations worldwide can build the capacity to achieve their fundraising goals.
